    Set in the coastal village of Borth in Ceredigion, Borth Animalarium is a family-run animal sanctuary that offers a warm welcome to visitors of all ages. Spread across 12 acres with views of the sea, this charming spot is home to a wide variety of rescued and rehomed animals, from goats and pigs to rabbits, guinea pigs, and chickens. Daily animal handling sessions in the Petting Barn allow children and adults alike to enjoy hands-on interactions with some of the friendliest residents.
    On selected dates, the sanctuary also hosts special VIP Days that offer a closer look at some of its more exotic animals, providing an extra layer of adventure for those looking to learn more. Facilities include a café, gift shop, and children’s play areas, ensuring a relaxed and enjoyable visit for the whole family.
    Borth Animalarium is accessible, dog-friendly (on leads in designated areas), and open throughout the year, excluding Christmas Day. Opening hours are 10am–6pm from April to September and 10am–4pm from October to March. Whether you’re planning a school visit, a birthday celebration, or just a family day out, it’s a lovely mix of fun, education, and animal care. Booking in advance is recommended, especially during busier times and for special events.

Wolf Dog Feeding – Available Every Day. You will be able to fence feed the wolf dogs with an experienced keeper, while learning all about them from their keeper. This experience is for up to two people aged 12 and over for £25 per person and expected to last up to 30 minutes. This experience is available between 2pm and 3pm

VIP days at the Animalarium – These are special days where you can get access to our collection of exotic animals. You’ll be able to learn all about them and their habitats, and even feed some of them! These are only available 6 days a year.
