There are wide paths around the majority of the farm site, though there is varied terrain and some areas may be too muddy for wheelchairs, particularly in winter months. The reception, shop and cafe areas have step free access.

Yes we have baby changing facilities

Yes, well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome at Sacrewell. You’ll find water bowls for them at reception and outside the mill house and if they enjoy a longer walk you could take them on one of our ramble routes. As we have a large number of toddlers and young visitors on site, we do insist that owners pick up after their dogs and that access to the Playbarn (soft play), the shop and the cafe is for assistance dogs only.

Yes we have free parking

We request, where possible, for visitors to pre-book tickets online (however you are able to pay on arrival on the day).

Generally you can’t feed the animals but we do demonstrate lamb feeding in an interactive sessions. Feeding shows take place at 10am, 11am, 12pm, 2pm, 3pm and 4pm (weekends only) and 10.30am, 2pm and 4pm on weekdays. If you’re visiting on a school day, we recommend arriving in the afternoon as we’re busy with school groups in the mornings

We are not a petting zoo, sorry.

Our tractor rides are £1.50 for a full tour of the farm

We have several picnic tables around site, with a large area in the mill garden which is next to toilet and handwashing facilities. There’s also a quieter picnic area by the mill pond and, of course, you are welcome to eat your picnic in our Playbarn as well. If you’ve brought a comfy blanket, we don’t mind you popping it down on the grass in these picnic areas.
