The Centre is home to a variety of farm animals, including traditional breeds and unique species like alpacas, llamas, and reindeer. Emphasising accessibility, it features free parking and easy access to accommodate everyone.

Almond Valley’s museum offers a deep dive into local history, while interactive exhibits like go-karts and zip lines make learning fun. The site is equipped with excellent facilities, including baby changing areas and a café, making it ideal for family outings, educational trips, and celebrations.

The pricing below shows a farm’s price range for different types of visitors. It includes prices for all-day and half-day visits, playing inside or outside and any other ticket types the farm offers. If you’re bringing little ones, we define toddlers as aged 0-2yrs old but each farm defines them differently. Some split babies (0-1yrs old) and toddlers (1-3yrs old) so it’s best to check on-site before booking.

The recommendation to book in advance is down to one of two things; the farm often fills up and has to turn away people on the door or it’s cheaper to book before-hand. It’s usually the latter!

Are you wheelchair, pushchair or buggy friendly?

Yes, there is level access into the main reception building through doors that are 900mm wide. All other buildings on site are on a single level and are fully accessible, other than a small cellar in the watermill

Do you have baby changing facilities?

yes we have baby changing facilities

Are you dog friendly?

No, only assistance dogs that are accompanying a disabled person are welcome. We kindly suggest that assistance dogs wear a harness or jacket so that their purpose is instantly recognisable.

Do you have free parking?

Yes there is free on-site parking

Do I have to book in advance?

It’s no longer essential to book admission tickets in advance, but it ensures a smooth admission when you arrive at Almond Valley. No need to book for under 2’s

Can I feed the animals?

No, there are special dispensers (which take 20p pieces) to allow you to feed the ducks and geese.

Do you have any paid-for extras once inside?

Train rides run at weekends from Easter to September and daily during some holiday periods – return tickets cost £2 per person. Indoor soft play is £2 per person, and tractor rides are £1 per person. Alpaca walks cost £40 for 2 alpaca (up to four people) and £60 for 3 alpacas (up to six people)”
