TREE|HUB wants to challenge misconceptions about wood's role in our society. We are partners with Grown in Britain, promoting a more sustainable future.

Our structural timber is Douglas Fir planted 1958 at Venus Wood (Cocking, West Sussex) and sourced by Donald MacDonald, the head forester of the Cowdray Estate. Our ladder is built with dried Oak selected by Sarah Farmer. Both materials were donated by English Woodlands Timber. The OSB that you step on and see on our walls was grown in Scotland and donated by Norbord.

The rest of the elements are reclaimed: timber donated from an exhibition at The Building Centre and scraps from Economic Skips. The roof is finished with reclaimed acrylic donated by Gregory Signs.

The pavilion was built at the Design Department workshops in Goldsmiths, University of London by BA Design students.
